The Canary
The 18-hole championship course designed by Beau Welling is routed across reclaimed land shaped by the area’s Old Mine history and lake dredging that followed. Former mining activity and dredging work created dramatic elevation changes, bold contours, and water features that now define the course, including two island par-four holes formed from this historic landscape. What was once abandoned coal mines has been thoughtfully transformed into a striking lakefront course that reveals unexpected beauty and challenge, delighting players with a setting and experience rooted in history.
Membership
- Old Mine Club is a private, invitation-only club created exclusively for homeowners at Long Cove.
- Membership is intentionally limited to preserve the character of the club and the experience it offers—golf, dining, fitness, outdoor pursuits, and year-round programming designed as a natural extension of life at Long Cove.
- At this time, Old Mine Club memberships are not available independently of homeownership. Ownership within the Long Cove community is required to be considered for membership.
